Many people around us are skinny or underweight or just wants to gain weight because who doesn't want to look good. So here I am with 6 habits that you should develop that will help you to gain weight. Since being skinny or underweight is in your genetics, it will take few months and a lot of hard work to cheat your genetics. But don't lose hope, your hardwork and time will pay it off by giving you your desired result.


So without wasting time, let's hop into it.


#1 EATING CARBOHYDRATES-

Start eating a lot of carbohydrates like wheat and white rice. Include them in your diet. Start eating 3 chapattis and 2 handful of cooked white rice in each serving 3 times a day. I know its a bit hard but believe me only 3-4 days will be hard, once your body is habitual, you can even increase the portions.


#2 DRINKING MILK-

I recommend you to drink only buffalo milk as it help you to gain weight quickly. Drink milk quickly twice a day. Once in the morning and second before going to bed. Please take atleast one glass daily, but 2 will work even better.


#3 EATING BETWEEN MEALS-

You not only have to eat thrice a day but continue to have snacks in between the meals. Try to eat every 2.5 hours. I recommend you to have 1 snack between each meal, this will make your meal intake around 6 times a day. I know it sounds a bit lot but you know, if you want to achieve your goal, you have to strive hard for it. Try including snacks that are heavy in nature but please don't switch over to fast food. Eat home-made healthy food.

#4 EAT PROTEINS-

Proteins should be included in your diet. Protein is a vital component that has a singnificant role in helping us to reach our weight gain goal. Eat 2 bowls of pulses and other protein rich foods like- chicken, eggs, paneer(cottage cheese), tofu, hemp seeds, chia seeds, e.t.c.


#5 DOING MILD EXERCISES-

Mild exercises should be done as it helps to increase digestion, but don't do heavy as it will burn out all the food that you have taken in and you will not see any visible results. I recommend you to do exercise in evening as it will increase digestion process. You should always do exercises like slow walikng or slow running.


#6 DRINKING WATER-

Drinking pleanty of water is another step in improving digestion that will take your weight gain journey to another level. Water should be an essential part of your diet nomatter what your fitness journey is but people drink it in a wrong way. Click here to check whether you drink it correctly or not.

So here are some tips to gain weight which if followed for 2-3 months will surely result in your desired goal. Check your weight on the first day and check it every week to see the result and make changes accordingly in your routine. But here are some dishonourable mentions-

#1 EATING JUNK FOOD-

Eating junk food should be avoided as it takes place of your 1 healthy meal and everyone knows that junk food has no work to do inside our body except to harm it from inside as well as outside.


#2 EATING REFINED FLOUR-

Refined flour (maida) looks like a healthy alternative but is neverthless like a curse on our body. So, avoid eating refined flour. Although eating it will give you fast result but eating it, you're harming your body from inside.
